This week I got hit with a cold that completely knocked me on my ass. I started feeling sick on Thursday and by Friday I had a 102.5° fever and spent the entire day on my back. I felt better on Saturday and Sunday than I did on Friday but I was still in rough enough shape that I didn’t get any work done on KA. Before I got sick, from Tuesday to Thursday I managed to get through the section Volume: Washer Method (Revolving Around Other Axes) and actually feel like I finally got a strong grasp on how to solve those types of questions. I got through 1 question in the final exercise of the unit from the section Calculator Active Practice and got it correct which I was happy about, although I don’t remember exactly what the question was about. To be completely honest, I don’t have any energy right now to write out a blog post but I also don’t want to miss making a post for the first time in >2.5 years. In lieu of a proper post/explanation of what I learned this week, here are two questions I worked through this week. The first are just my notes from the question I worked on in the first 2 videos of this section and the second question is from the exercise that I did on Wednesday:
Question 1
Question 2
You can see that at the top of my notes from the second question that it says “Redo”. I don’t have enough energy to rewrite it though so I’m not going to.
I’m pretty sure I must have covid because this cold is way worse than any other cold I remember having. The good news is that it is getting better but I’m still very low on energy, my head is incredibly stuffy, I’m dizzy, I’m short on breath, etc. Another concerning thing is that I think food seems to be tasting bland/bad but I could just over thinking it. That being said, based on how far I’ve come since Friday, I’m hoping that by this Wednesday or Thursday I’ll be back to feeling ~95% and will be able to get fully back into KA. I’m so close to getting through Calculus 1 and really, REALLY just want to get it finished with. AAGHHH!!!!! 😡 🤬 😭
